Bachelor and Master of Education Sciences, Ângela has been making crochet since ever and discovered tricot in adulthood. Since she began making it, it has become her biggest addiction and her full-time occupation. In 2014, she created her brand Pontos & Voltas, and started teaching tricot workshops. Ângela wants to know more about the history of this technique and the origin of the fibers used to create her pieces. Her long-term goal is not to need to buy wool, but to produce it herself. It was in this sense that she created, in 2015, with a friend, the project com malhas portuguesas nas mãos, intended to study the process of producing wool from the sheep to the yarn, and to defend and apply the use of natural Portuguese fibers of artisanal production. She is a volunteer teacher at the Senior University of Marinha Grande. On her free time she practices yoga and takes care of her balcony garden. She loves wildflowers, as well as other simple things in life.
