This picture was taken in Santa Rita beach, near Torres Vedras, about 45km North of Lisbon. It was the place where I learnt how to fly. The conditions that day were really nice and there was a german paragliding school teaching there. The glider in the picture is from a student that took of from the cliff, landed in the beach and kept practicing. What drew my attention in this particular case was the contrast between the different textures of the sea, the sand, and then the perfectly drawn shadow of the glider.
Stay tuned for more on the “From above” collection of Angles, a collection of pictures taken by Pedro Pina while paragliding.
